cai is differen't from other horses. She has the gift of far sight, meaning that she can see small glimpses of the future. Often times, it is just a small vision, of what she might eat tommaro. But every once in a while, something important will pop up. But something that alot of horses missunderstand, is that she cannot control the visions. They come when the come, she cannot chose when. But most horses think that she is lying. And try to control her. Usualy a big mistake.

headstrong and quirky, cai hates it when other horses try to order her around. She has always had a problem with horses thinking that her 'power' was something that they could control. she is very wary of other horses, and always trys to avoid other herds when she can unless she is sure she can trust the other horses in the herd. Cai can be a little withdrawn, never really wanting to be around other horses when she can help it. But she isn't really shy, because if she does talk to someone. She doesn't have any problem with it. Cai has always had many good leadership qualitys to her, though she has never been in a position that would allow her to use them. Because of her far sight, no stallion wants her as their lead mare. Just as a tool to help them rise to power. And because mares cannot run herds on their own, She has always been shunned and turned away.

born into a small her of horses, melentha was immediatly shunned by the other horses because of her white eyes. Ever since she was first born, she has been a bit of an outcast among the other horses of the herd. And has never really felt like she has a home. Melentha Cai has been a bit of a wanderer for all of her life, moving around the land for all her life. She has never been able to stay in a herd for very long before someone finds out about her power. And then the lead stallion always seeks to control her power. all of the time, she is forever dodging larger herds, and heading for small ones in hopes of a chance to have a slightly normal life. she's still looking.
